John Willford of Hicksville, died on Aug. 2. WWII Navy veteran. Beloved husband of the late Anne. Loving father of Patricia Krumholz, Pamela Jones, Jacqueline Schell and Deborah Pavlat. Cherished grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of 10. Treasured great-great-grandfather of two. Services were held at Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes in Hicksville. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, Aug. 7, with interment at Calverton National Cemetery.
