Junior Olympic Swimmers

Garden City residents Alana Brown and Margo Kern qualified to compete in the Metropolitan Swimming Junior Olympics held at the Nassau County Aquatic Center. During the course of the three-day meet, the girls competed in both individual and relay events as members of the Long Island Aquatic Club (LIAC). Brown and Kern helped their team to victory as LIAC took home first place honors in the 14 & Under Combined Team category.
