Summer Camp Coming To An End

It’s hard to say goodbye, but all good things must come to an end. Weeks eight and nine at the Boys & Girls Club’s summer camp are an exciting way to close out the “School’s Out” Summer Recreation Program.

During this past week, campers in the K-3 subgroup enjoyed several fun-filled activities including trips to Tobay Park, Chuck E. Cheese, and Long Island Laser Bounce.  The annual Luau was enjoyed by all, especially those who did the limbo stick. The trips and events for the upcoming week include, Active Kidz, Bingo, and Ellwood Cinemas.

Campers in the fourth- to 10th-grade sub-group enjoyed the annual Luau and trips to Tiki Action Park, Regal Cinemas and a Yankee game. Next week, they will be visiting the Bronx Zoo, competing in the Club Olympics and being active at Boomers.

Summer camp will conclude at the end of the ninth week with a Camp Carnival that will include fun games and prizes during for both groups.
