Rev. Charles A. Gartner, of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, died on Sept. 12. Former associate pastor of Our Lady of Mercy R. C. Church where he served for over 30 years. Beloved uncle of Rosemary, Joann, Sr. Bernadette and great uncle of Stephanie. Devoted brother of the late Rita and foster brother of John. Dear friend of Elaine. Mass was held at Our Lady of Mercy R. C. Church in Hicksville. Entombment at Holy Rood Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes in Hicksville.
