Dorothy Edith Wilkenshoff, 85, passed away on Nov. 3 at Westminster Nursing Home in Rock Hill, S.C.
A service and burial will be held in Astor, Florida.
She was born April 13, 1928 in New York to Harry Petry and Martha Schroeder Petry. Wilkenshoff worked as a secretary for the Hicksville Schools Administration until retiring to Astor in 1983. She moved to Rock Hill in 2011.
She was the widow of Edward Wilkenshoff and leaves behind sons: Mark (Vikki), York, S.C.; Steven (Susan), Huntington Bay, N.Y., and Chris (Barbara), Elizabeth City, N.C., She has seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her cousin and best friend Gladys Umbach of Lake Mary, Florida.
