Carol Lee Bailey, a longtime resident of Sea Cliff who relocated to Waltham, MA a few years ago died in her sleep on Friday, Nov. 8 from complications from COPD. Carol was an active member of Roslyn Presbyterian Church in Roslyn and Trinity Church in Waltham, MA. She was an avid Mets fan although since her move to Boston, the Red Sox also enjoyed her allegiance.
Carol moved to Massachusetts in 2010 to be near her daughter Kate, and grandchildren Maeve and Reese Burnham. Carol is survived by her sisters Leslie Eve McHale, Beverly Bailey Shields and daughters Leslie Marie O’Shea, Jean Patricia O’Shea and Kathryn Eileen Burnham.
In addition to Maeve and Reese Burnham, she is survived by grandchildren Jakob Parker, Cierra Borgers and Gabrielle Bailey. Carol died at peace and with faith in Christ’s redemptive love.
