Louise Gabrielli Gallagher, 100

Louise Gabrielli Gallagher of Lake Success died on Oct. 10. She was 100-years-old. She is the “beloved mother” of Marianne (Michael) Riess of Greenwich, CT, Paul (Anita) Gallagher of Leesburg, VA, and David Gallagher of Lake Success and Proctersville, VT. She was the loving grandmother of Daniel and James Riess and the proud great-grandmother of Axel, Owen, Ellie and Jack Riess.  Louise was a Spanish teacher in New York City public high schools (Grover Cleveland, Martin Van Buren) for over 30 years. She was a 25-year volunteer at North Shore (Manhasset) Hospital and served as president of the Lake Success Garden Club.  Charming and gracious, she was a friend to all who knew her.
