This past season, second graders at the E. M. Baker Elementary School, were given a unique project.
The students were asked to give an outstanding “Bravo Award” to their most favorite place in all of the Great Neck community. The Great Neck Park District is extremely proud to announce that they were the recipient of numerous awards. At the park’s board meeting on Thursday, December 19, five of those students presented the District with their distinctive “Bravo Award.”

The Park District Board and staff members were quite touched by the children’s honesty and charm.
Commissioner Daniel Nachmanoff stated “It is impressive and quite a pleasure to see that people of all ages consider the Park District their favorite place”.
