Port Native Becomes Colonel

Michael Rokaw, a former Port Washington resident and a 1987 graduate of Schreiber High School, was promoted to Air Force Colonel in a ceremony at the Pentagon on Jan. 6, attended by family and friends.

Rokaw, the son of Carole Rokaw of Port Washington, graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1992. He is currently assigned to the Pentagon.
