Manhasset Library Positions Open

Interested Manhasset residents are invited to register for a position on the Manhasset Public Library Board of Trustees.

There are five members on the Board, and there are presently two openings: one unexpired term commencing on April 9, 2014 and expiring June 30, 2018; one five-year term commencing July 1, 2014 and expiring June 30, 2019. The candidate receiving the majority vote will be elected to the five-year term; the candidate receiving the second highest number of votes will fill the unexpired term commencing April 9.

Nominating petitions will be available at the Second Floor Reference Desk of the Library and must be filed in the Administrative Office no later than Friday, Mar. 10 at 5 pm. A candidate must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of the Manhasset School District.
