Roslyn Trinity Cooperative Day School students need not travel to Manhattan for a culture and dance experience. Teaching artists from the Alvin Ailey School come to the Co-Op every winter.
The creative dance and movement program engages the children in a variety of activities and introduces them to the wonderful choreography of Alvin Ailey. This year the children moved and danced to the wonderful music of “Revelations” and enjoyed using a variety of props including fans and scarves.
The Alvin Ailey program is one of many experiences that the Roslyn Trinity Cooperative Day School provides to its students.
