Six ninth- and tenth-grade students of Garden City High School Spanish teacher Michael Berg were recently recognized with certificates from the Nassau County Office of the County Executive for their Public Service Announcement (PSA) video entries into the Families Against Drugs program competition. “Two groups of students worked together to make 30-second videos,” explained Berg. “As they are Spanish students, they were also required to include a bilingual phrase.”
