To the Town of North Hemsptead, I really think you are making a mistake by not installing two AEDs outside in Tully Park.
Last year I had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Fava and present ideas on placement and security of the AEDs in Tully Park she seemed very interested but I never heard back. I would like the opportunity to meet again to come up with a way to have these AEDs installed.
Did you know that last month a doctor from the area was found next to his car in the Herricks High School parking lot. Apparently he had just finished exercising on the track when he suffered a heart attack. Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death. Over 350,000 people die each year; 10,000 of them are young people, appear healthy and have no known family history of heart-related illness.
Let’s not wait for an accident to happen at Tully Park
