An alleged burglar is wanted for stealing a laptop computer and a cell phone from the Nassau County Department of Health building in Mineola over Memorial Day Weekend, police said.
The suspect fled after breaking into the office on County Seat Drive between 4:45 p.m. Friday, May 23 and 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, police said.
Third Squad detectives released a photo of the suspect, who was caught on surveillance video, in a flyer that asks the public for their help in identifying him.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic man with a medium build, between 5-feet, 9-inches and 5-feet, 11-inches tall. He was wearing a tan jacket with decals on the left arm, blue jeans and sneakers.
