Syosset 7-Eleven Robbed

carA man was arrested and charged with robbing a Syosset 7-Eleven on May 28, according to police.

At 6:25 p.m., police say 27-year-old James Eisinger, while inside 50 Berry Hill Rd., put a beer and some other items on the counter for purchase.

When asked by the clerk for identification, police say Eisinger produced a Florida I.D. The clerk began to question the defendant about his address, allegedly agitating Eiseinger, who then jumped over the counter and struck the victim on the side of the face, according to police.

Police say Eisinger grabbed the beer can and a package of candy and ran into a waiting vehicle. A witness outside in the parking lot, who observed the incident, recorded the license plate and called 911.

Second Precinct patrolling officers say they observed the Eisinger a short time later, in the vicinity of the Syosset train station and placed him under arrest.

Eisinger is being charged with robbery, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, and criminal contempt from a previous order of protection.
