The Island Trees High School Music Department had successful Spring concerts in May.
The first featured Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Band, under the direction of band director Greg Warnokowski, and the Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of percussion specialist Gerard Noble. The community choir was also featured at this concert, and was under the direction of Mrs. Chet Lazzara.
The symphony orchestra and chamber orchestra, under the direction of Leiann McGrory, and the Mixed Chorus and Jazz Choir, under the direction of Susan Oliveto, performed at the second spring concert. Both events featured a wide array of classic compositions and musical styles.
