If Michael Bublé’s childhood dreams had come true, he’d be playing on a line with the Sedin twins for the Vancouver Canucks. Instead, the British Columbia native has become one of the world’s biggest pop stars with a jazz-inspired sound that draws from elements of old school vocalists like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett while adding a contemporary pop approach. Through the course of six studio albums, Bublé has seen his records go multi-platinum while notching a number of Grammy wins under his belt. Along the way, he’s worked with a wide variety of artists including Sharon Jones, Ron Sexsmith and Barry Gibb. For his most current outing, last year’s Bob Rock-produced To Be Loved, the Canadian crooner mixes in covers of The Bee Gees, Randy Newman and Smokey Robinson with a number of originals and guest shots by the likes of Bryan Adams, actress Reese Witherspoon and the Puppini Sisters.
