A 21-year-old Uniondale man died when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into the back of a minivan on the Southern State Parkway in Hempstead over the weekend.

New York State police said Teric Curry was riding his Suzuki eastbound when he rear ended a Honda that was stopped in traffic near the exit for Eagle Avenue at 4:33 p.m. Saturday.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver suffered minor injuries.

Troopers are continuing the investigation and ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at 631-756-3300.
