Port Washington and Sands Point are packed with A-listers as filming of an HBO pilot takes place in the area.
Port Washington News Editor Karen Talley was on the set Friday, and spoke with Mick Jagger, who sources had reported was involved as a writer.
Jagger was leaning against a truck, watching the actors and crew on the set when Talley approached.
The legendary Rolling Stone confirmed his involvement in the project, which currently is being directed by Martin Scorsese and has the working title “Rock & Roll.”
Jagger asked our reporter to not take his photo. She obliged. Instead, Jagger sent out a Tweet on Friday showing him in profile on the set in Sands Point.
Oliva Wilde, Ray Romano, and D-lister Andrew Dice Clay also are among those on the scene. Jagger’s son Richard is also in the cast.
He was a very pleasant guy.
