The Town of Oyster Bay’s Department of Community and Youth offer exciting new workshops for the Fall 2014 season, and registration for all applications is open from now until September 22. A variety of courses for adults and children will be offered at the North Massapequa Community Center, William P. Bennett Hicksville Community Center, and Syosset-Woodbury Community Center throughout the season.
Workshops for adults include origami, water coloring, oil & acrylic painting, drawing fundamentals, digital photography, Zumba fitness and beyond. Highlights for children workshops include fun activities like juggling (Grades 2 & up), filmmaking (Grades 3-6), guitar lessons (Grades 3-5), Chess (Grades 2-6), and much more.
This fall the Workshop Enrichment Program is extending a workshop to middle/high school students (Grades 7-10). Teens can learn the basics of music technology to become the life of the party in DJ Academy.
