Olivia C. Lohrius, 66, of Wallingford, VT, died Friday, Aug. 8 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 30, 1948 in Astoria, the daughter of Daniel and Grace (Cola) D’Angelo. Mrs. Lohrius graduated from Locust Valley High School in 1966. She married Alan Lohrius on Aug. 10, 1948.
Mrs. Lohrius had been a resident of Paradise Valley, PA prior to relocating to Wallingford, VT in 2004. She enjoyed gardening and was a talented artist working in charcoal and watercolors.
Mrs. Lohrius had been a volunteer for Hospice, Red Cross, and the Meals on Wheels Program.
Survivors include her husband Alan of Wallingford, a daughter Kris Breen and her husband Michael of Charlotte, VT, a son Jamie Lohrius of Fort Collins, CO, her mother Grace D’Angelo of Bayville, two brothers, Daniel D’Angelo and his wife Regina of Huntington and Leonard D’Angelo of Bayville, two grandchildren, Jonah Breen and Cecily Breen of Charlotte, VT and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father in 2002. There was a private family memorial with graveside services at Green Hill Cemetery in Wallingford last week.
