Nassau County police are looking for two men wanted for carjacking a driver at gunpoint in Valley Stream over the weekend.
A 36-year-old man was making a U-turn on Southgate Road when one suspect got in the passenger side of the vehicle and a second suspect got in the backseat and pressed a handgun to the victim’s head at 6:45 p.m. Friday, police said.
The assailants demanded the victim to put the car in park, give them his wallet and get out the vehicle, police said. After complying, the carjackers fled the scene in the victim’s car, police said.
The victim and his girlfriend found his car parked and unoccupied on Rushfield Avenue shortly later. The victim then called police.
