Jody Barrilleaux, World Famous Airbrush Artist is coming to United Skates in Seaford, tomorrow Sept. 30, to completely transform the facility’s décor to reflect the future.
Barrilleaux, a self-taught airbrush artist, was introduced to the art at age 11 by his grandmother. He travels the United States transforming entertainment centers with his unique and exciting designs.
United Skates has been an integral part of the Long Island community for 35 years. The 24,000 square foot entertainment facility features a roller skating rink, laser light show, café, arcade, and is a top destination on Long Island for family entertainment. The new theme will be based around scenes from New York City as well as many New York City entertainment components.
An even bigger change is that the walls will be painted with bright colored black light paint, brightly illuminated with new state of the art, high powered LED black lights that will create a 3D glowing effect.
“Watching Jody’s artistic process is so interesting,” said Lisa Ingenito, General Manager. “The ideas that he comes up with are so creative, and watching him bring those ideas to life is so incredible. I cannot wait to see the finished product,” said Ingenito, adding that this is the biggest change in the facility’s 35 year history.
