A 24-year-old Selden man was killed when his motorcycle was involved in a crash with an SUV in Centereach on Tuesday night.

Suffolk County police said Daniel Gutierrez was riding a Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Middle Country Road when he collided with an eastbound Hyundai SUV near Rustic Road at 9 p.m.

The victim was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver, 20-year-old driven by Samantha Brenkert of Ronkonkoma, and her three passengers, were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.

Sixth Squad detectives impounded the vehicles, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone who witnessed this crash and has not been interviewed by police to call them at 631-854-8652.
