Manhasset Art Auction

On Oct. 21, Manhasset High School will host its fifth annual Art For A Cure Student Art Auction. Artwork from students of various ages will be sold to raise money to support the Manhasset Women’s Coalition Against Breast Cancer. The event is being organized by the National Art Honor Society.
NAHS is collecting any artwork students may want to donate and we encourage students to create pieces for the auction. All students willing to donate should see a teacher in the art department for a submission form and any art supplies they may need. A certificate will be given to those students that donate art for the event, as well as possible community service hours for students. All are welcome to attend to purchase fantastic pieces of artwork created by the students in the Manhasset community. Admission is free.
A preview of the pieces will begin at 6 p.m. and the auction starts at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Contact Alec Wadhwani at artforacurePINK@aol.com for more information.
