No need to think “What’s for dinner?” The Village of Great Neck Plaza’s annual Restaurant Week, from Sunday, Nov. 2 to Sunday, Nov. 9, provides a simple, delicious answer. Eat out! This Fall 2014 event, sponsored by the Plaza and the Business Improvement District (BID) offers delicious prix fixe Dinners for $26.95 at an enticing group of local restaurants.
This season’s Restaurant Week (the eighth season) features 15 of the village’s finest restaurants including ERA Asian Cuisine, Colbeh, Bareburger, Ethos Authentic Greek Cuisine, LOLA, Mykonos Greek Cuisine, Elaine’s Asian Bistro, Sake 68 & Sushi, Chatanooga, Wild Ginger, Great Neck Diner, Burger Village, Laverne’s of Great Neck, Brasserie Americana and Daruma of Tokyo. All participating restaurants will offer a variety of these prix fixe dinners, making for an affordable and expansive culinary week of dining out for everyone. Everyone is invited, from Great Neck peninsula residents to neighbors from far and near.
“Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to experience great dining at an affordable price,” said Ron Edelson, executive director of the BID. “The variety of choices allows guests to enjoy a different type of cuisine every night of the week.”
The entire Plaza business community is proud that the village’s friendly atmosphere is the perfect setting to enjoy the best of North Shore dining. All restaurants participating in Restaurant Week are conveniently within walking distance of the LIRR’s Great Neck train station, and parking is available on-street, in municipal parking fields and garages.
According to Plaza Mayor Jean Celender, “Restaurant Week is one of our most popular, and delicious events hosted by our BID,” She added that November’s Restaurant Week “ill highlight dishes from all over the world that will be sure to satisfy your palate … there is something for everyone.” The mayor added, “The only dilemma you will have is deciding where you’ll want to dine each day.”
