Rep. Peter King (R)
United States Congressman Peter T. King, a Republican, is serving his eleventh term in the U.S. House of Representatives. King is a member of the Homeland Security Committee, the Financial Services Committee and the Intelligence Committee. Following the ravages of Superstorm Sandy, Rep. King led the successful fight in Congress to obtain $60.4 billion in emergency funding. Rep. King has fought hard for veterans’ benefits and is also a strong supporter of funding to combat deadly illnesses such as breast cancer and prostate cancer. Rep. King and his wife, Rosemary, reside in Seaford. They have two adult children and two grandchildren.

Patricia Maher is President of a Civic Organization and a former executive with a not-for-profit healthcare agency, responsible for supervising the Educational Outreach with schools for both Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
She has an M.A. from Hofstra University.
