On Tuesday, Dec. 2, the Garden City Public Library will be hosting an AARP Driver Safety Program from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In-person registration begins on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 9:30 a.m. at the reference desk. Registration is limited to Garden City library cardholders aged 50 and older and must be done in person with photo identification, proof of age (preferably a driver’s license), along with your AARP membership card. Payment of $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members for course materials must be made at the time of registration. Cash will not be accepted. You must pay by check made payable to AARP.
