Plainview Old-Bethpage School District’s John F. Kennedy High School students recently performed in the 17th Annual Friends of the Library Recital.
Performances included piano selections, an “a cappella” vocal performance and traditional Chinese selections from the students of the Plainview Chinese Cultural Center. The recital celebrated Friends of the Library member and Plainview Old-Bethpage Library Events Coordinator, Janie Stockhamer’s 40 years of performance artistry at the library.
As part of a strong partnership between the school district and the public library, the students were given the opportunity to showcase their talents for the community.
