Come to the Bethpage Public Library from 2-4 p.m. or 7:30-9 p.m. for a screening of the movie Le Week-End. Long-married British couple Nick and Meg are revisiting Paris for the first time since their honeymoon in an attempt to rekindle their relationship. They careen from harmony to disharmony as they take stock of half a lifetime of love and even some regret. Starring Jim Broadbent, Lindsay Duncan and Jeff Goldblum. (2013 R; 93 mins).

Charity Basketball Game
The FREE All-Stars of Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) of Old Bethpage will be taking on the Harlem Wizards in a charity basketball game at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue. Joining the FREE All-Stars in taking on the Harlem Wizards will be Suffolk County Deputy Sheriff Brian Grazidei and former NY Met, and current Long Island Ducks Manager, Kevin Baez. The event is sponsored in part by Plaza Surf ‘N Sports and in addition to the basketball game will also feature a Chinese auction, door prizes, raffles and 50/50. Doors open at 3 and tip off is at 4 p.m. The FREE Jazz ensemble will perform the National Anthem and the halftime show will feature the FREE Players Drumline. Authors Brunch Series: Martin Greenfield
Come to the Mid-Island Y JCC located at 45 Manetto Hill Rd., Plainview from 12-2 p.m. to discuss Greenfield’s book, Measure of a Man: From Auschwitz Survivor to the Presidents’ Tailor. Holocaust survivor Martin Greenfield tells his incredible life story of how he was taken from his home at the age of 15 and was transported to Auschwitz with his family. After overcoming adversity, Greenfield arrived in the United States and worked as a floor sweeper at a New York clothing factory. He founded America’s premier custom suit company and to this day, still works in his Brooklyn factory dressing A-listers including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jimmy Fallon and Bill Clinton.
