Levittown’s Northside School community participated in the annual John Thieissen Foundation toy collection and collected more than 800 new games and toys for distribution to children in local hospitals.
Organized by the PTA, students chose wooden soldier ornaments naming a gift from the school’s Giving Tree located in the school’s lobby. The toy drive coincided with the school’s focus on the December character trait of generosity and those who participated were happy to bring joy and support to hospitalized children.
