Curvebreakers Practice ACT

Nick LaPoma of CurveBreakers will be at the library to administer a practice ACT exam on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. He will grade the exams and return to the library on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. to review individual practice exam results. He will also give a lecture on how those results can be improved. Register for one session and you are automatically registered for both sessions. The confirmation email will note the Jan. 21 date. Registration begins Dec. 27 online on Eventkeeper.

Holiday Party

Registration is underway for a holiday party for YAs during the December school break. Celebrate the holiday season with refreshments and entertainment on Thursday, Dec. 29 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. This special program is limited to 35 YAs.

Registration for all YA programs may be done in person at the Young Adult desk, by phone to the Young Adult Librarian (516-742-8405), by email to mkelly@gardencitypl.org, or online on Eventkeeper. Go to the website www.gardencitypl.org and click on the Calendar of Events to register online. Every ‘tween and teen must have their own library card to register for programs. Priority is given to GCPL cardholders.
