April Lorenzi and Aleyna Spinelli, dancers from the Nassau BOCES Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA) and students from Massapequa, performed in the world premiere ballet, “Cracked,” last weekend. “Cracked” is a new and exciting take on Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, presented through American Theater Dance Workshop and the Nomad Contemporary Ballet.
The show saw immense talent and creativity from Lorenzi and Spinelli as well as their many fellow dancers.
