Syosset High School’s varsity football team isn’t the school’s only team turning heads this year. The Syosset kickline and dance team delivered strong performances during the Long Island Kickline Association’s Competition no. 1 on Dec. 14.

The team captured first place in the hip hop division, a routine the team first performed during the championship football game earlier this year. Syosset also placed first in the dance category and second place in the kickline category. The team is coached by Marisa Sanders and captained by Matt Solowan, Chrissy Goncalves, Caty Battipaglia and Nikki Bergman.
