A 22-year-old Shirley man was indicted on a slew of charges for allegedly having sexual relations with a minor and for sharing child pornography on the Internet.

Sean Coraggio pleaded not guilty Tuesday at Suffolk County court to charges of criminal sex act, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a sexual performance by a child younger than 17 years old and other counts.

Authorities arrested the suspect after Computer Crimes Section detectives and other investigators executed a search warrant at Coraggio’s Forrest Avenue home on Dec. 23.

Coraggio worked as a security guard in the William Floyd School District and as a contractor for Stony Brook University, police said.

Judge Steven Brawlow ordered Coraggio held without bail. He is due back in court on Jan. 13.

Fourth Squad detectives are continuing the investigation and ask anyone who might have additional information about Coraggio to call them at 631-854-8452. All calls will be kept confidential.
