Senator Michael Venditto (R-8th Senate District) recently honored Eric Harrison Worme of Massapequa for attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Venditto attended the Court of Honor at the American Legion Post 1066 in Massapequa to personally congratulate Worme, a member of Boy Scout Troop 590, on earning scouting’s highest honor.
“Eric has spent years serving his community and working hard to achieve something only a select few ever do; the rank of Eagle Scout,” he said. “The entire community is very proud of Eric and we congratulate him on earning this very esteemed honor.”
Worme’s Eagle Scout project consisted of planning, organizing and completing a clean-up and beautification project at the Town of Oyster Bay Senior Housing Apartment Complex. He dedicated over 188 hours to this project.
Congratulations, Eric on this prestigious honor!
