The Mineola Junior Fire Department recently held it 19th annual pasta dinner. Over 700 people attended this year’s dinner.
Every year the community joins together for the junior’s pasta dinner fundraiser. Many distinguish guests were present that included Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray who was there to make a presentation to the junior fire department.
At the dinner parents, firefighters and eight junior fire departments from Nassau County were on hand to support the Mineola juniors. Volunteers from Chaminade High School were there to lend a hand in serving food to the many people who attended the affair. Of course the most popular station was the desert bar with its many cakes puddings, cotton candy and the sundae bar.
