From aviation and animal care to dental assisting and audio production, Nassau BOCES’ Barry Tech has a variety of career and technical education courses for high school students. An open house will be held March 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for students interested in learning more about these programs. The school is located at the Joseph M. Barry Career & Technical Education Center, 1196 Prospect Avenue, Westbury, NY.
During the open house, current Barry Tech students also will be giving away gently used prom dresses as part of their Becca’s Closet community service project. Hundreds of dresses and accessories are available all free of charge.
