Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto, Councilman Joseph D. Muscarella, Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone, Councilwoman Rebecca M. AlesiaJV,ADM,RMA,JJS-Dune Grass Planting, Town Clerk James Altadonna Jr. and Receiver of Taxes James J. Stefanich recently joined volunteers for Dune Day, the Town of Oyster Bay’s Annual Dune Grass Stabilization Project held at Tobay Beach.

Dune Day involves countless volunteers lending a hand in planting dune grass across Tobay Beach to act as a buffer against high winds during storm surges and protect the delicate ecosystem of the beach and surrounding areas. Also pictured here with Supervisor Venditto and the Oyster Bay Town Board were Dune Day Coordinator Maryann Webb, Dune Day Committee Chairman Irene Viviano, and the Scouts and Scout Masters of Boy Scout Troop 691 in Seaford.
