Sidewalk Sweep

CSM , in partnership with the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Manhasset Civic Association, is inviting adults, students and particularly our young people to take part in this community event, Sidewalk Sweep of Plandome Road on Saturday, April 25.
Because this fun event will focus on courtesy, pride of community and safety for pedestrians and drivers, we believe it will help to create a cleaner, kinder and safer Manhasset.
The Town will provide Tee shirts and trash bags. Certain merchants will provide flowers to plant in the areas they designate. The choice of volunteer opportunities are: greeters, block representatives, balloons, reporters, sweepers, planters and photographers with digital camera (not cell) to capture photos for publicity. Bring a tool – broom & dustpan, hand trowel for planting. Community Service Hour Certificates will be available upon request. Goodie bags for participants.
Please indicate how many volunteers we might expect to participate and the youth & adult size tee shirts that will be needed. You are invited to share this message with other friends & neighbors. Walk-ins will be welcomed. Attached is the flyer with more information.
