Endorsement For Gloria Su

I am writing in support of Gloria Su, who is a candidate for a position on the Board of Trustees at the Manhasset Public Library. We first met as parents of sons who were in Troop 97 in Manhasset. Over the years in which I have had the pleasure of working with Gloria, I’ve witnessed her steady growth as a leader and organizer, and know her to be a strong advocate for all members of our community. For example, when Gloria first joined the board of the Chinese American Association of North Hempstead, she immediately accepted responsibility as Secretary, and after two years, emerged as copresident. As a member of the board, Gloria had many innovative ideas and offered practical solutions to challenges we were facing. She was an effective leader and team player, who had the ability to work towards the accomplishment of our objectives successfully within the constraints of a tight budget.
As part of the Manhasset community for 12 years, Gloria and her family have utilized the services and participated in the rich programs offered at the library. She is passionate about maintaining the level of services and making changes, as needed, keeping in step with the development of technological advances. She also understands the dynamics in our community and will listen to what our members have to say. She will do her best to enhance the experiences and improve the lives of everyone from toddlers to seniors in our community.
Please vote for Gloria Su…She is bright, energetic, and able to gets thing done in a fiscally responsible manner. She has the knowledge, skills, and dedication required to be a contributing member on the library board, and would be a tremendous asset to the Manhasset library.
