The Roslyn Harbor-based Nassau County Museum of Art was the beneficiary of a party hosted by Ambalu Jewelers of East Hills.
The Ambalu event was one of several that were key to benefiting the upcoming Museum Ball. Female members of the ball and journal committees, garbed in black dresses, modeled magnificent jeweled pieces from the Ambalu showcases and vaults. Of particular interest was a stunning pair of sapphire and diamond earrings, valued at $5,000, that the Ambalu family donated to be raffled off at the ball.
Midnight in Paris, Nassau County Museum of Art’s 2015 ball, will be held on Saturday, June 13, at 7 p.m. The ball celebrates the museum’s 25th anniversary year, honoring the Hon. Thomas S. Gulotta and the Hon. Ed Mangano, Nassau County Executives at the museum’s founding and today. Through decor, French-inspired cuisine and costume, Midnight in Paris is designed to evoke the glamour of the city of lights.
