The Village of Great Neck will have a new Mayor and two new trustees in July.
Pedram Bral received 1040 votes to Mayor Ralph Kreitzman’s 391. Mayor Kreitzman has held the office since 2007 and was a trustee six years prior to that.
Bral’s running mates, Ray Plakstis (1020 votes) and Anne Mendelson (980 votes), will take over for incumbent trustees Jeffrey Bass (350 votes) and Mitch Beckerman (346 votes). Independent Sam Yellis received 136 votes for trustee.
75 absentee ballots were yet to be counted but will have no impact on the results.
