The Bar Harbour Auditorium will show a 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. screening of the movie A Most Violent Year. An ambitious immigrant fights to protect his business and family in 1981 New York City, one of the most dangerous years in the city’s history. Abel Morales (Oscar Isaac) has a lucrative oil-delivery service but beset by rivals who want his business and a D.A. who wants to take him down, Abel is driven to desperate measures to save his company and protect his family. Adopt-A-Battalion Soldier’s Drive
Come help put care packages together for troops overseas. Our volunteers sort, pack and ship items to send to the troops. Feel free to drop off donations in person or to just have a cup of coffee and help out. Looking for personal care items, seasonings and hot sauces and items other than candy. From 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Island Knight of Columbus Council, 2 Eastgate Rd., Massapequa Park.
Seaford Farmer’s Market

AARP Defensive Driving
