Cops say they have arrested a Brooklyn man in connection with a Jericho robbery during the early morning hours of Aug. 6.
According to detectives, an officer on patrol received a “Lojack” notification indicating a stolen vehicle in the area at 1:23 a.m. After tracking the signal, the officer was directed to the parking lot of the Hampton Inn on Jericho Turnpike where he spotted the stolen vehicle occupided by two males. Cops arrested the passenger, Eduardo Carbucia, 16, without incident. However, cops say the driver fled on foot and has yet to be located.
Carbucia is charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle.
