On Thursday, Aug. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m., the Shelter Rock Library will host a meeting with a representative of the Town of North Hempstead’s Building Department.
The meeting will allow residents in the Roslyn area an opportunity to address any concerns they may have regarding their Building Department application. They can also receive assistance from the town’s Applicant Advocate and the mobile Building Department Unit.
“The evening office hours provide a convenient way for residents to ask any questions they may have about their permits and find out more about the Building Department,” said Supervisor Jodi Bosworth. “These sessions have been successful in the past and I look forward to them continuing to make Building Department services as accessible as possible for homeowners.”
The Applicant Advocate provides residents with a more customer-friendly and personal experience in the Building Department. The advocate is tasked with assisting residents in navigating the permit process.
The Shelter Rock Library is at 165 Searingtown Rd., Albertson.
