While Town beaches are soon closing for the season, Oyster Bay Town Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone invites residents to enjoy one last weekend of summer fun, as Tobay Beach will remain open for residents to enjoy the weekend following Labor Day. On Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12 and 13, Tobay’s oceanside will remain open for swimming.
“The town is pleased to give residents one last shot at summer when Tobay will reopen for the weekend of Sept. 12 and 13,”said Councilman Macagnone. “If you haven’t gotten around to going to the beach this summer, the weekend after Labor Day is the chance to catch up and have a fun day at the beach.”
Macagnone further noted that beach admission fees would still be collected for residents that do not have a seasonal sticker on their car. For more information, contact the Town Parks Department Beach Division at 797-4110 or visit the Town’s website, www.oysterbaytown.com
