A man was fatally struck by a truck in Bohemia on Wednesday evening.

Suffolk County police said the pedestrian, whose identity wasn’t immediately available, was hit by an eastbound Freightliner on Veterans Memorial Highway at 9 p.m.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fifth Squad detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at 631-854-8546.
