Obituary: Cleo Deregibus

Cleo Deregibus of Matinecock, died on Aug. 16, 2015, at age 95. Husband of the late Diana D. Father of William O. (Surin) and Katherine. Brother of the late Francis. Grandfather of Niwat and Enzo. Mr. Deregibus was a retired Pioneer of Aviation serving with Pan American World Airways for 37 years. Also served with Air Transport Command during WWII. Originally he was an aeronautical engineer graduating with honors from the Guggenheim School of Aeronautical Engineering at NYU. He loved his country, community and family. Arrangements by the Funeral Home of Dodge-Thomas, Glen Cove. Burial at Locust Valley Cemetery.
