A tradition since 2002, the guidance department at Mineola High School has been hosting an overnight college road trip each fall for students in grades 10-12. Students are given a guided tour of the campus, the opportunity to taste-test from the college cafeteria, a feel for the surrounding area and a chance to speak with current students (sometimes Mineola alumni) and counselors from the school.
This year, the trip featured stops at Boston University, Northeastern University, Suffolk University and Stonehill University.
